Meet Skinvive, the latest hyaluronic acid filler gaining attention, having received FDA approval in May 2023. It’s practically a shortcut to the rejuvenating effects of a full night’s sleep and the recommended daily water intake of three liters. Often called a “skin booster” rather than a traditional filler, Skinvive distinguishes itself by prioritizing skin hydration and providing a radiant, well-rested appearance—think “I didn’t stay up late scrolling through TikToks in bed.” The results last for approximately six months, making it a noteworthy option for those seeking a refreshed and glowing complexion.

What is Skinvive and What Are Its Benefits?

In essence, Skinvive serves as a dermal filler designed to enhance the visual aspects of your skin, distinct from altering the contours of your face. Unlike more familiar fillers such as Juvederm or Restylane, which are utilized to augment various facial regions without affecting skin quality, Skinvive takes a different approach.

According to New York City-based dermatologist Michele Green, MD, traditional fillers aim to add volume for purposes like plumping lips or accentuating cheekbones. In contrast, Skinvive harnesses the moisture-attracting properties of hyaluronic acid to boost skin hydration and refine texture. Instead of injecting the solution deep into the dermis to address volume loss, dermatologists administer Skinvive through superficial droplet injections, targeting the outer layer of the skin (epidermis).

Some of the benefits include little to no downtown, although patients were recommended to avoid heavy exercise and sun exposure for 24 hours, and patients stated they had their “glow” for up to six months.

How Much Does Skinvive Cost?

The cost of Skinvive typically falls within the range of $350 to $900, reflecting the variability in pricing based on factors such as geographic location, individual providers, and specific treatment plans. The pricing spectrum allows for flexibility, accommodating diverse budgets and preferences. It’s essential for individuals considering Skinvive treatments to consult with qualified professionals to discuss their unique needs and receive personalized recommendations. Factors influencing the cost may include the extent of treatment, the number of sessions required, and the expertise of the administering dermatologist or skincare professional. As with any cosmetic procedure, potential patients should thoroughly explore pricing details during consultations to make informed decisions aligning with both their aesthetic goals and financial considerations.
